Neil responded to a late night message on Saturday and came at 11am on the following Sunday to take a look at my bike and pick it up.

He delivered it back, fully repaired just over 2 hours later, just past 1pm. He got my gears working again, having replaced the derailleur and fixed my brakes.

He explained exactly what the job would be and kept me updated on the repairs with estimates as he went.

Along with excellent and speedy service, he was a pleasant guy who charged very fairly. This has been the best bike repair experience I've had so far, and will be recommending him to friends and family.

My wife and I had left our bikes in storage for many years in a damp garage, they became seized and no longer functioned properly. After receiving a shockingly high quote from my local well known Bicycle and automotive retailer to service and repair my bikes, I decided to look for a second opinion from an independent cycle mechanic. I contacted Neil at Seahaven Cycles and was immediately impressed by his can do attitude and honesty. Neil arranged to collect my bikes and delivered them back the following day all at a fraction of the price I was quoted by the bicycle and automotive retailer previously. The bikes were fully serviced and necessary parts including brake cables were replaced and fitted. The bikes were even cleaned before their return.
